Good local shop with friendly staff. Well laid out and has most things you need in a hurry including local produce and great meal deals. I prefer it to the other co-ops in the area. The staff are really friendly and recognise you and say hi. Just feels nicer that the other local coops

Over priced but that is the co op for you I guess. Couple things I needed were 50% more expensive than in the shops I usually would buy them from. Their prices are what deters me from shopping at Co-Ops (other than if I have no other option). The shopping experience is no better than e.g.Tesco or even Poundland so what exactly am I I paying more for?
The store was pleasant & staff were friendly in this particular branch but nothing exceptional. The self serve tills were handy(they did not have them last time I vsited).

In addition the hand sanitizer pump was physically filthy as was area around it which was off putting. Hand sanitizer is less effective if you have greese or dirt on your hands before applying. The shop was very quiet so it was not like they had no time to notice & clean things up. You could say I'm nit-pucking with this but am just giving my guenuine thoughts (and paying £4 for something I usually pay £1.99 for I'd like a more exceptional experience 🤣).
