Nice store but the self service and till area doesn't have enough space to allow for longer queues so it's quite awkward

I’ve just been shopping in the above Co-op food store where I always find the staff so friendly and helpful . Today Claire was on the till and I just wanted to say what a pleasant and nice person she was and certainly an asset for the Co-op.

It's the only grocery shop in the area so it can get pretty packed. Small selection of fruit and veg, mostly snacks and pantry items. Decent selection of wines and beers.

After living nearby for the past few years i can safely say that this store has got worse as time goes by. Some of the staff are great, others not so much. Stock seems to be an issue, they dont stock enough of the best sellers but you never see a empty shelf in the alcohol isle. Since the recent refit customers dont really know where to queue, especially with the annoying self serve checkouts. Seriously over priced too. I can get twice as much milk from other places for the same price as I'd pay here.

This is my local Co- op. It's a couple of minutes walk from my house, so has been very handy, especially during lockdown. The staff are always helpful and friendly. I have never been there and found they are low on stock or don’t have what I need, thanks to the end work of the wonderful staff. They are always going above and beyond.

The staff are very friendly in this slightly out of the way shop. Although it's slightly off the beaten track it seems to have a steady flow of customers. It's a typical Co-op, a little old fashioned, but clearly vital to the area.
