Ellerton Lakeside Cafe

During our holiday in UK, we popped in for a brew and some food today and was really impressed. Chef James prepared some amazing scones today and we loved them, would recommend for an excellent breakfast.. Or a Legend Breakfast as they call it.

Our first family vacation to England and we have stopped by this cafe. Their homemade pizza – It was excellent and very fresh. Enjoyed it with a Pint of Peroni – Dog Friendly.

Tacos were awesome. Service really great. Tara the General Manager is lovely and really helpful. Gift Shop is brilliant.

We arrived for an early lunch. There were plenty of tables. Our first choice wasn't ready, we were early, so we both chose lasagne. The drinks were brought first and the lasagne quickly followed. It was delicious. Lovely side salad and coleslaw with crispy chips. It was very filling and very enjoyable. Well worth the visit.

Just been to the event of live music and BBQ. The music was great. Can't fault the singer. Such a lovely voice. But so disappointed with the BBQ. Queued up for an hour. I was given my food ( nachos) before my friends burger I'd eaten my food while waiting an HOUR for the burger. When I got it it was undercooked. Was so disappointed got really fed up so we just left rather than wait again. Like I said the music was great. It could have been a great night if it had been thought through throughly.

Well I enjoyed my visit,however the table arrangements were quite Faulty Towers with illogical layouts and young ladies bless them trying their best to locate customers who ordered ages ago, though we did enjoy our meal. I'm sure it wouldn't be to difficult to set up a more efficient way to organise the seating arrangements.

Where to start. Bad marketing, bad food, and bad organisation. Queued for 30 minutes at the bar and then well over an hour at the BBQ to find the food advertised on their Facebook post was not being served. The music was fantastic and the only good thing about the night. The food was rubbish with low quality hot dogs and over cooked burgers. Many people left and requested refunds as the queues were so long. Terrible and shocking night.

Took my daughter to the meet santa and elves event. She loved it, the elves and santa were amazing along with the lovely staff and food. Great value for money never knew this place was here! Reminds me of mainsgil farm beautiful place
