Ely is one of the best places to visit in Suffolk and is a tourist hotspot with a unique look and charm, beautiful canal with pubs and restaurants along its side.

On the small side but an interesting farmers' market with a good range of specialist stalls, most notably sourdough breads and artisan cheeses. Also a range of tasty snacks and coffee available. Free parking close by. Definitely worth a visit. Alternate Saturdays.

Brilliant market. A great variety of really interesting stalls. An excellent fruit and veg stall, a reasonably priced flower stall. A cheese stall with a good variety of cheeses. There are also some very original craft stalls too

Charming is the best word to describe this market. We wandered through and had a really nice time browsing and just making small talk with the various vendors. There was plenty to see and choose from. Food, hand made art, jewelry, plants, and more.

Long time since I visited an excellent selection of clothes,plants, books games, garden furnitur, and an excellent selectio of both fresh vegetables and butchery. Could spend hours exploring every department. Plus an excellent cafe when you need a breather
