I wouldn’t usually leave a review, however after the level of service I received from Ian recently I felt compelled to do so! I purchased a bike from Ian in early December, the whole process in getting the bike ready for me to collect was seamless and no issues there at all. After around a week or so of having the bike, it developed an odd electrical issue (no fault at all of the bike shop). Timing on the issue wasn’t great as the shop was shutting for Christmas and Tom (mechanic) was off for a few weeks in January. Even though I told Ian I was able to wait until Tom was back, Ian took time to fit my bike in and carry out the repairs himself with guidance from the manufacturer in the Netherlands – and then also offered to drop my bike back off afterwards for me given I live 2 hours away! The service here is exceptional and Ian and the team care about not only the experience you receive but also getting you back on the road again when things unfortunately do go wrong. Can’t recommend them enough and I’d certainly consider them again in the future, solely based off their after-sales support if nothing else. Ian is incredibly knowledgeable on the industry and will actually take the time to talk to you and guide you properly and impartially. Massive thank you to all to the team there for a very pleasant experience.

Popped in for some shorts, came out with a Specialized ebike! We were so impressed with Ian's knowledge and that nothing was too much trouble when quizzing him about e-bikes. My husband is one-handed, Ian and Tom adapted the bike professionally and did a fab job, we are so happy with the bike and the service that they provided. Awesome!

Bought a full suspension Marin from Ian and Tom at Escape about 6 months ago. Bought as a frame and fork combo they put together a fantastic build package with mega attention to detail. I have since returned for a service and fork upgrade and once again was highly impressed -even plotting a ride in the local area for us whilst the bike was being done.

Great service from Ian And Tom. Helped me tones in purchasing my first new bike and with all my questions, very knowledgeable, and also didn't judge me like some other bike shops for not knowing much (also throwing in a dropper post for free 😉 ).
Gave me a great recommendation for my bike and also for local cafes to have breakfast whilst they serviced it.
I'm sure I will be visiting again for all my bike needs XD.

Done an online order with Cyclescheme.
Ian rang me about half an hour after putting it through - let me know everything about the bike, suggestions etc.

Myself and my daughter hired some e-bike over bank holiday weekend and we had THE BEST TIME, so much fun. We’d never ridden e-bikes before , the guys in the shop were patient, knowledgeable and super helpful. Would highly recommend and it made all the hills do-able.
