James was absolutely wonderful. We phoned him after a negative experience viewing vehicles at a local garage. On a whim we decided to look further afield and phoned to see if Evans Halshaw had what I wanted. James was lovely over the phone and informed us they had something perfect in stock. We left immediately and I walked out that day with having purchased my dream car. James was kind, courteous and made me feel at ease. The entire process was stress and pressure free and I felt cared for. He went to every effort to ensure I was 100% happy with everything, including looking at other garages to see if they had anything available. I would highly recommend James to anyone. The whole experience has been phenomenal.

On 29/4/25 I had the worst MOT experience at this centre, I had booking for 1 PM, I should start with a fact that they will let you know that MOT can take up to 4-5 hours straight at the reception, no information in email or any explanation, ok, I was waiting until 2:30 PM with no any information about the status of my car and when I asked why is this happening, they book at 1 PM but taking cars 4-5 and lady from the reception seated at middle desk answered in a rude manner with raised and bossy voice, accusing me that I am insulting her team and if I don't like anything I can take my keys and get away from there, never thoughtthat a simple question as a customer will create such a big inconvenience for both parts, which I find it very unprofessional and offensive, I understand that it can take time if there's a massive queue, however it was absolutely empty, and when I checked my dashcam they did started at 3:45.Also in them MOT is included " forced" car was, even if I refused because car has been spotless as it has been professionally cleaned evening before, I appreciate them courtesy, however I mentioned that is not needed, anyway, they've done what they need, just spreaded some foame without rinsing properly, which can be seen on pictures in what condition I get my car back which resulted in 2nd carwash and waist of time, not forget to mention that they changed everything, mirrors, car seat, settings even radio, it took me ages to set it back.To conclude everything I still can't get why they make appointments for 1 PM and only when you arrive they inform you that they will return your car at 4-5, and being busy with cleaning and repairing salon cars, total waste of time and poor time management, especially if you are not local and can't go anywhere, just waot there, I've passed multiple MOTs but none of them with this kind of experience, well I got my car at 4:50 which I find it very disappointingand frustrating, never coming or recommend to anyone.Is totally fine to take cars for longer, but they should inform this aspect way ahead, as once you are there you have no other choice, rather than waist your day, if I knew I should never go there, by the end this MOT cost me +1 carwash, afterschool for my child and missed day at work.

After finding my dream car at Evans Halshaw Chester (140 miles away) I was sceptical about making the trip to see the car. However on our first visit we were aloud to test drive the car and went through financing options with Sophie.
Over the following week I spent many hours emailing Andrew Shepherd with 101 questions and guidance on how to go through the PCP processes. On the following Saturday we drove up, took the car out for another test drive then decided to purchase it without PCP. Many hours of Andrews time gone out the window. I was sure he'd be cursing my name, but not only did he remain absolutely professional he was kind, understanding and there was absolutely no pressure sale (something I was concerned about after being at other dealers).
The car was as expected, I finally own my dream car, a week on and I still can’t quite believe it.
Dealing with Andrew has been a pleasure and a real credit to the Evans Halshaw Ford company.

A great experience, Andrew who sold me the car was a wonderful help. Made sure everything was sorted and kept in touch as much as he could to keep me updated on everything.
