Brilliant people who work there. Always there for you if you have a problem. Ellis always has time if you need a chat. Best pharmacy in Ilkeston never had to wait for medication to come in. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Friendly enough but not very helpful. Had to stop here during a half marathon run due a an excessively bleeding blister caused by new trainers. Advised by a male to buy cheap ‘Compeed’ esc plasters (which I did) but when asked if I could have a wipe to clean it/dry it with, I was shunned and told to ‘just put the plaster over the top and clean it when I get home’. Obviously 5 miles into a run with a build up of sweat and blood, the poor quality plasters would not stick and after applying the second one I gave up and carried on through the blood and the pain. I have 14 years customer service experience in retail, distribution and hospitality. Many a time customers have come to me with cuts, grazes, even blisters and it doesn’t take much to go to the staff first aid box and get a wipe out to help a paying customer.

Having looked at the one negative review of this pharmacy (which bears no relation to the reality!), I am moved to commend them for their efficiency, their helpfulness and medical advice, their COVID19 measures, and their ability to steer one to the best and often the cheaper remedies. Very fortunate to live 5 minutes from them. Use them!

I’m very sorry to the New Lady Pharmacist
My last review was unkind and unthoughtful ,
Theirs always a learning curve to every job and
I should have taken that into account , for which I humbly apologise to her and the staff of Evans , and for any upset I might have caused.
I’m delighted to say that the New Pharmacist is fitting in now extremely well and she’s very assertive and on the ball .
All of the staff are very friendly and helpful also And again my most sincere apology,
I was too quick to judge and for that I am ashamed of myself , I now give Evans , Old station , 4 Stars .

Always friendly and quick while getting me my prescription. Never had any issue with them. Also friendly when I call and ask if if my prescription is ready.

First time visit for booster jab..immaculately clean and organised staff very friendly and efficient. Easy for parking which is a bonus nowadays.
