Great department store, especially for a wheelchair user. The ground floor is ideal for perfumes and toiletries most of the cosmetic counters offer free makeovers, I have had excellent assistance with my makeup 💄 from the ladies at “The Cliniqe “ counter.
On The top floor is A spacious café area with plenty of room for wheelchairs, between the tables and at the tables. ~
A bonus is the very picturesque view from the café, also on this floor are the toilets, suitable for Wheelchair users & shoppers with pushchairs or Zimmer frames. Signage is very good throughout the store for people who are hearing or sight impaired, or individuals who have learning disabilities.

I visited the Gurlein counter in Fenwicks for a pre planned appointment for a facial. The woman who did my makeup - makeover - was fabulous. And I mean fabulous! She took twenty years off me with her skills and I found myself spending money on some beautiful products, LORRAINE you are fabulous in your quiet and committed approach to people and your own makeup is beautiful too. A compact shopping center with really good brands and eye catching display. There are all neccessary things for what you want from kids toys, gift, home decor & furniture. Do come on the 2nd floor to enjoy the home edit with good ideas for decor and stop by the Cafe to rest your legs and fill your tummy🍒

5 Stars – Exceptional Service at Clinique Canterbury!

I had an absolutely outstanding experience at the Clinique counter in Canterbury, and I feel compelled to share just how wonderful it wasespecially thanks to the incredible service I received from Donna.

From the moment I approached the counter, Donna greeted me with a warm, genuine smile that immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the products and took the time to really understand my skincare concerns and preferences. Rather than pushing products, she asked thoughtful questions and listened attentively to what I was looking for, which made the entire experience feel very personal and tailored.

What truly stood out was Donna’s passion for what she does. She explained each product with such clarity and enthusiasm that it made learning about skincare both enjoyable and easy. Her recommendations were spot-on she introduced me to a routine that has already made a noticeable difference in how my skin looks and feels. I didn’t feel rushed at all; in fact, Donna made sure I was 100% confident with everything before I left.

Her professionalism was matched by her kindness. She was friendly, patient, and never once made me feel self-conscious or pressured. It’s rare to find someone so genuine in retail these days, and Donna really went above and beyond to make me feel cared for not just as a customer, but as a person.

Clinique is lucky to have someone like Donna representing their brand. She turned what could have been a simple shopping trip into a truly uplifting experience. I left not only with fantastic products, but with a big smile on my face.

If you’re ever in Canterbury and want expert skincare advice with a personal touch, I can’t recommend Donna at Clinique highly enough. She is an absolute gem!

Went there today with my boyfriend and we have been in plenty of times before as we love their clothing but staff were very rude to us they followed us around the whole time and I was trying clothes on and the lady was waiting outside my curtain to make sure I didn’t steal but didn’t do this with other people using the rooms all because of my age and tattoos! Its horrible! The only reason I continued with my purchases was because on the mens floor there was this lovely lady who was kind and helped us with the transaction. She was wearing a pink top and she has brown hair and glasses it was around 1pm and date was today 23/05/25 I believe her name was Ritta as that’s what’s on the receipt

My wife and I went in to fenwicks Canterbury yesterday looking at the fragrances and cosmetics when one particular lady working on the Estée Lauder counter ( syreeta )approached her and after talking with her about the product and fragrances I purchased the private collection fragrance for my wife then she offered my wife a sit down consultation ,so she accepted it and sat down there,she said the whole process was so great and personal from start to finish she was tentative to all my wife’s needs, which I can honestly say I’ve not seen given to her for long time . My wife was treated and cared for with such professionalism and attention my wife said the conduct was very professional. my wife said she has never had anyone help her and discuss things with her products like that in other department stores especially in and around the Kent area, all the girls on the beauty shop floor were also very nice too myself and my wife, we will be definitely going back in fenwick again soon and my wife will definitely be recommending Estée Lauder & your beauty hall to her close friends and family members well done Estée Lauder & fenwick you have very skilled staff & passionate.
