We had been absolutely exhausted after a long hike in Glencoe. Despite us being 1hr late with traffic they kept our booking kindly and I’m so happy they did! The venue is stunning, elegant and cozy with an infectious atmosphere. The food…sublime! Mouthwatering, diverse options and excellent value. Ended with the best tiramisu I’ve ever had and a delicious local Aberfeldy whiskey. Our waitress was very attentive and warm; she even gave us tips on whiskey drinking! Will definitely be visiting again 🙂

We visited Fern Cottage for dinner and ordered the Traditional Fish & Chips. The chips were a highlight, nicely fried, golden, and crispy. However, I found the fish a little over-fried, with too much batter compared to the actual fish inside. The portion also looked bigger in presentation than it actually was once cut into.

For dessert, we tried the lemon posset and sticky toffee pudding. Both were pleasant and enjoyable, but nothing particularly memorable.

Overall, a cosy spot for a post-adventure dinner, but the fish could do with a lighter touch on the batter.

We visited this restaurant for our anniversary! Food is amazing. I had the duck and my husband had venison.
Definitely the best meal we've tasted in ages! Staff are fantastic and the atmosphere is brilliant! Thank you to you all for a lovely evening....even the singing by staff and customers to say congratulations was a lovely touch.
We definitely will be back and have recommended your restaurant to so many people. Thank you.

Nice and cozy little restaurant. We just ordered a quick dinner during a quick stop on our tour, they let us know they were already fully booked but that we could sit in the terrace which was even better. We ordered the soup and some fries and it was quite delicious. The atmosphere was great and the service was out of this world! I would just wish we had more time to try more of the delicious food they offered.
