We stayed at Foyles on Saturday night on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis as it is halfway between us and our friends. The hotel is well kept and individually decorated rooms. We were in the Verdana room which was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. ||The food was fantastic - we both had the filo camembert parcel to start and the chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce for main and then shared the chocolate fondant for dessert all of which were great. The restaurant was busy and had a good atmosphere and service was friendly.||We were the only people having breakfast! It was cooked to order with a good selection on the menu.||We would happily return.

A very quiet and lovely hotel. Very well appointed with a clean, large room and en-suite (includes a bath). Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and is in a very quiet area - lovely!
The meal and breakfast we had were very tasty with a good serving. The price for the meal and the room was reasonable. Certainly happy to recommend and visit again.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here, the staff were just the right level of attentive but not overbearing and the food was delightful. My only criticism is that I asked for medium and received well done, but it was still delicious and didn't spoil the evening at all. Will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

Why this place is not packed all the time buggers beliefs. Most amazingly beautifully presented food I've eaten in a very long time. Best arancini I've ever eaten. These are very modest portions at amazing prices. Lots to do in the area could easily spend the day. I'm definitely definitely going back there soon. Amazing, thanks, guys

This is a simply superb hotel. Excellent well appointed rooms. The staff are courteous and very accommodating. The food is good value and the taste and presentation first class. Having stayed we have come back for more meals. We shall be back.

The food and atmosphere were brilliant. The service is polite but could do with having a bit more rapport/friendly banter when chatting with the waiters.
The hygiene rating is only 1, which is disappointing and not a great impression on an otherwise impressive place.

This is one of our favourite places to visit and this week we decided to ask if we could do a Sunday roast take out. The staff were so accommodating, we took our own plates and had a drink while we waited. The food was absolutely stunning, cauliflower and leek cheese was to die for as was everything else. Thank you so much and look forward to seeing you again.
