Furniture Village

Very pleasant experience at Furniture Village Gateshead today. Was able to wander around unaccounted until I wanted assistance and then it was readily available, today by Joanne. She was the model of professionalism…. Knowledgeable, friendly and informative. At no time did I feel rushed and was happy to make my purchase. A very satisfactory conclusion. Thank you.

I purchased two three piece suites from the Metro Centre branch for my family and parents . The items are part of the Ezra collection. I’ve immediately raised a complaint and sent photographs in. The packing material in the seats is lumpy and has raised areas bulging through. The quality of product is nothing like the one we saw in the store. Poor quality and workmanship. The delivery men were great with excellent customer service so 5 stars to them only. So disappointed with the product received. Not acceptable! The company has failed to respond to the email sent.

Appalling. Dealt with Richard Brennan at the Gateshead branch who told me, as did your website, that my mattress was in stock and available for immediate collection. Weeks later, nothing. I’ve since gone back to Richard who told me the product was available for collection the week i write this - still nothing. Emailed and called the store multiple times and got no response. Took a large sum of money off me without hesitation and weeks later haven’t delivered the goods. One of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. Avoid.

Went today to look at sofas, we had a good look around without being hassled by staff. Tim asked if we needed any help but left us to have a good look around. Quality of the sofas is great and we found the one we wanted. Process was straightforward. Looking forward to it arriving in January.

The assistant was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and professional, helping us to choose a new bed meeting our needs. Faced with a large range of beds, they gave us very good advice, suggesting options we had not previously considered. We requested fabric samples to find the best colour to match the room, but these took two weeks to arrive, hence the reduction in score to four stars. Everything else could not be faulted.

Nice wander around the shop a lady called Rosie asked if we needed any help. We were able to ask about furniture but take our time without being put under any pressure. We were interested in a particular sofa but we were undecided between that one and a sofa in another shop. At no time were we given any hassle As it turned out we came back in half an hour and made our purchase

the staff at Gateshead were very helpful and pleasant without being pushy. even when we asked for a swatch of leather to match accessories it wasn't a problem. Many thanks to Anja Briggs who attended to us. well done.

We had a great experience in Furniture Village with Tim assisting us. We were able to calmly make our own way round the shop without feeling hassled (as with other shops which just made us want to leave). Tim was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions quickly and concisely.
