Fantastic spot for brunch after a walk at Ingleton Falls.

We called in here for brunch with the kids and found a great cafe with a very cool menu and absolutely top class ingredients.

The hot drinks menu, food menu and cocktail menu are all brilliant (it was a bit early for cocktails but they sounded delicious and lots I haven’t heard of / seen before).

My wife had the ‘Magic Mushrooms’ which were delicious and I had ‘The Gem’ breakfast. The quality of ingredients was evident.

There was a corner of the cafe with books and toys for small children which was a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

A very pleasant experience and we’ll definitely be back.

Great café with amazing customer service! We were a group of 10 celebrating a friend’s birthday, and they made us feel so welcome. It was the little touches that stood out, like the owner coming over to personally wish my friend a happy birthday. Everyone was brilliant, but Charlotte deserves a special mention—she was fantastic! The food was excellent, and the coffee was top-notch. We’ll definitely be back and will happily recommend it to others in the area. Thanks
Jack

Delicious food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere! Myself and my partner came for a late lunch and it was fabulous! The miso mushrooms were delicious, and the hot honey chicken pancakes were amazing! Chicken was perfectly cooked and moist, chips were delish and poached eggs were done well. We recommend taking away a cake at the end!

We stopped in at this brand new eatery on a chilly January morning just by chance as we were heading over from Harrogate up to the Lakes for the weekend. We were met with an incredibly warm welcome and settled in for some brunch. It's clear the owners have thought about every element of the customer experience with the decor, as it feels cosy and well laid out. The menu is expansive and offers modern british breakfast and brunch items taking the best flavours from around the world. I had the special "I got you babe" which was the crispiest Pork Belly served with Kimchi Pancakes, a Fried egg and a Spicy Coleslaw 😋 It was certainly a decent sized portion for a greedy Yorkshireman like me and was washed down with a good sized Americano coffee and Orange Juice. I also managed to taste some of the home made beans on my wife's breakfast which are worth stopping in for on their own! Highly Recommended 🌟

We stopped in at the GEM cafe on our way to lake Windermere. It’s a gorgeous cafe with a vibrant and warm atmosphere (despite the cold outside). The decor is has been beautifully considered with unique lighting features and funky artwork that compliments the vibe of the menu perfectly.
The staff welcomed us with big smiles and made us feel very special.
The menu threw up some tough decisions, but we settled on the “Naughty Bird” and the “GAP year burger” and we were not disappointed.
The naughty bird was a clever take on fried chicken with pancakes. The spicy honey drizzle was just awesome and paired perfectly with the soft pancakes and exceptionally crispy crust on the chicken.
The burger packed a punch too and ticked off all the wins when it comes to a great burger - two juicy patties, heat from the spicy kimchi and a yummy burger sauce, crisp baby gem lettuce, a perfectly fried egg in a soft brioche bun!
Highly recommend a visit to this place for brekkie or lunch, you won’t be disappointed! 🤩

Feel very lucky to have this fabulous new cafe as our "local". Great for breakfast/ brunch/ coffee and cake. The recent Valentines evening meal was absolutely delicious and great value for the standard of cooking. Looking forward to the curry evening in March.
