Glasswells Ipswich

Just bought a new house and stopped at Glasswells for a few items and was really impressed with the selection and size of the showroom at their store in Ipswich. Glasswells are in independent, family owned business with just 4 stores in East Anglia, I think this reflects in their attitude - the staff were super-helpful and friendly and the range of furniture is generally much better than the selection I found in other stores around town. PS. I was there at the end of June 2024 .. there's a sale on!

Ordered a bed - supposed to be good quality and with a price to match. Quality of bed and fittings were poor and the amount of packaging was outrageous. Polystyrene everywhere. I phoned Glasswells and they shrugged their shoulders, not interested. I’ve been customer for some time but no more. Premium price, basement product and service

I mostly come to this store to visit the cafe to be honest and that alone is worth the trip. This is a very large general store you can buy household goods, beds, furniture, lights and much more.

We have made many purchases from Glasswells, and have always so far been pleased with the result. The latest purchase has been a complete revamp of our kitchen floor. From start to finish brilliant, we chose a Karndean floor fitted by Dan who did a first class job and also thanks to Terry for his knowledge and expertise .

We knew what type of mattress we wanted so SallyAnn showed us half a dozen beds to try. Having given us all the information, she gave us time to think about our purchase. There was no sales pressure from her at all. A pleasant experience at Ipswich Glasswells.

Fantastic service! Really great experience ! Purchased a rug , but should have liked to purchase a lot more as there was loads of items I liked. This is by far the best place we have visited in our search for a rug as far as service goes it's tops. Thanks especially to Phil. We purchased a cream coloured shaggy pile rug!
