Worst place I've ever been to, went on holiday hoping to enjoy myself with a little shopping, and I went into sparkles to hopefully find a gift for my little brother since they sell a lot of toys. I ended up buying a bracelet for myself, I paid for it went to look at other stalls I then came back near sparkles and the owner came storming at me accusing me of stealing something I paid for. Her only evidence was a screenshot of me going into my purse. I asked her if she wanted to search me to prove I didn't steal, but she hesitated then dodged the question and kept yelling that i stole she also wouldn't let me look at the whole cctv footage either.

I have had mostly positive experiences at this market. The vendors are always friendly, and you can find some unique or 'dodgy' items, which can be a bonus. Most of the stalls have been around for years which shows the market is stable. But it's a shame that they don't have the catwalk anymore, as my wife used to enjoy it here.

About the only store open in the market in March. Lots of foods and other stuff fairly cheap, not all a bargain so check your prices first.

Some good bargains to be had! Food prices vary, better than the the fantasy island market but much, much smaller.
