The staff here are absolutely lovely! Very accommodating.|We originally booked a basic one bed apartment but was offered an upgrade last minute and had a great two bed apartment which was lovely and clean and adequately equipped and close to everything.|Our friends had issues with their apartment and were given an even better upgrade. |Lucky they were able to do that it may have been different in season.|The weather wasn’t the best for our weekend but there is so much to do on site it really didn’t matter. Soft play, bowling, swimming, arcades and I would definitely recommend the waves cafe. We did the pottery painting and it was a really nice activity to do on a rainy Sunday.|Looking to return next year!

What can I say. There is so much going for this site, that its disappointing when it let's you down. The area is great not far from the beach which is a nice beach.
The rooms are great we were in the logs and there were comfortable and space for the family.
Then it goes a little down hill from there.
Sports bar with no sky sports and pool table that sometime worked sometime didnt.
Pricing in shop was crazy went in on first day never went back travelled to tescos instead.
Meals were expensive for what you got.
And cost to do stuff on site was priced over the top.
The night entertainment needs working on also, seems very basic.
And customer service down the pub old mill was rude. Seemed to feel like everyone was a nuisance. Where the year before was very friendly.
Not sure if it because they need the money, but you can't treat people like this for you to come back.
And as I said at the beginning it's disappointing to see it got so much potential.

Hopefully they will sort it out

We stayed as a small family this past september for a weekend. We got the stay through sun holidays so got a good deal. The site overall is really good and a nice place to stay. We had an ocean tide villa and admittedly they need a little TLC. Ours was dog friendly so the sofa wasn't the best. The beds weren't the most comfortable and gave us a couple restless nights. The site was very quiet at night though which was ideal as we have a 18 month old. There were a good amount of activities to do and the arcade was fun. We didnt really do much whilst there as we had plans already. We played beats bingo 1 night and it was £1 a ticket, which i thought the winner might get the pot but the winner got a Verdand teddy which i thought was a little disappointing. We had food twice at the old mill, one time was for the carvery which was really really good, would definitely recommend that! Overall, we cant really complain but it definitely needs a bit of care.

We stayed here for the weekend of the scooter rally. We had a 1 bedroom apartment. The bathroom was newly fitted and very clean , and the shower was very powerful. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, kettle, microwave, cutlery etc. There was even a complimentary washing up liquid, tea towel, tea, coffee and sugar. The best bit though was how comfortable the beds were. I had the best nights sleep in ages. The onsite shop is well stocked where we got milk, and breakfast items. We also had a fantastic evening meal in the pub. So, in a word, excellent.

Brilliant spacious villa. Dishwasher and welcome pack with all essentials was a nice bonus. Schools had just gone back when we went, so sight was very quiet and peaceful - the heated outdoor pool was open every day, and we found the on sight shop very reasonable.
I went with the view from others feedback, that the beach was a nice 20 minute walk. We drove it twice, and definitely did not feel that it would be a nice walk with children and/or dog in tow (pavement not present on some parts) and it would be a hard walk back, as would be all up hill.
Beautiful beach tho.

We had such an amazing stay at the holiday park! The entertainment team were absolutely brilliant – special mention to James and Jasmine who ran the slime-making sessions. James was fantastic with the kids, so funny, and really went the extra mile to make everything special. He truly made the holiday memorable for us!||Our accommodation was lovely – clean, spacious, and had everything we needed already there. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side this time, the outdoor activities looked great and give us something to look forward to next time.||Overall, we had the best trip and can’t wait to book again. A huge thank you to the whole team, but especially James – you’re the best!

We stayed in the Ocean Breeze villa. Lovelyand clean. We found the beds were a little uncomfortable. Really good to have a washer dryer and a dishwasher. Lots to do onsite too. |Entertainment was ok but could of been better. A lot of singing would of been nice to see a variety of things instead. James from the entrainment was good we liked the game shows he did. |Jill from reception is very helpful of you need any help or advice.

Great spacious accomodation, we had a really nice time, staff were friendly and helpful, the overall site was clean, easy to navigate, The old mill food was excellent.

We stayed in a dog Friendly Ocean tide villa, spacious fresh linen and clean, good options for young children, we had teens and not everything was an option to do/book every day - wave rider, climbing wall. We had the last week in Aug/Sept perhaps quiet - to note we paid considerably less for this week than what was advertised for previous week.
Shop on site in our opinion had disappointing opening times 10 - 11 on a Monday and closed 6pm.
Entertainment was on every night and we could always get a seat - quieter week. Very child friendly. Would have loved a comedy night, silent disco - experienced at other sites so just an idea.
The snooker room hire was good. We liked the little nature walk around the park. We enjoyed the quiet position of our villa in the day, no one went past us. At night/early morning you can hear traffic - can't be helped. Traffic was barely noticeable when sat on decking in the day.

The bowling and clay art was more expensive than our local venues so we didn't bother.

Mattress very hard, pillows flat, this was probably what impacted our stay the most as I woke with aches every morning and affected our sleep. The double bed seemed small and we are not broad people but we are used to our king size at home.

Hot tub was enjoyed throughout our stay and chemical balance checked and well maintained.

Tips; could do with scissors in the kitchen, meat tongs, a shelf or stand in the bathroom so your things aren't just on the floor. Seeing it was dog friendly a gate on the decking too - this was green. Site and decking could do with a clean of roofs - moss/green.

We tend not to stay anywhere twice but we would stay again and would recommend this place to others. We are happy with what we paid but it would have not quite measured up the week earlier at twice the price.
Thank you
