A choice of gorgeous suits. I knew roughly what I wanted when I entered the shop for a fitting, which made things easier. I tried on the tail suit first which is what I wasn't too sure on. However the shop assistant was friendly and helpful. Lets hope the collection and return service is as good when it's wedding time.

We got married last year and the dress code was black tie. Almost all of the wedding party hired from Golding. My father in law’s suit (after being fitted) turned out to be the incorrect size and on the day of the wedding he had to wear what he wore the night before as there was no time to go and purchase a stand in suit. I’m so upset by this complete lack of diligence from Golding. What has bothered me even more is that no one from Golding has reached out to me as the bride to offer any form of apology. My mother in law received a refund but it just doesn’t go far enough - we will never get the day back and my father in law looks so out of place in all of our wedding photos. They said that this has never happened before however I was told by a friend that Golding gave their best man the wrong suit and on the morning of the wedding they had to rush a correct suit to her. Luckily she was based in Newmarket so they were able to rectify on that occasion. So clearly this is an issue for Golding and they lied in saying this was a one off to us when my husband spoke to them about it. We were out of Newmarket and had no time for my father in law to get a new suit so he had to wear different clothes which was just very disappointing. Would not recommend, especially due to the lack of apology.

I went for a suit fitting with my best man for my wedding and tried on various waistcoats with the navy suit I had wanted. The lady was so helpful and even when I had called less than a week before the wedding asking for 2 more ties and pocket squares she went above and beyond to help and make sure everything was spot on. Cannot thank you enough !

Liz helped my husband find the perfect rental suit for our wedding, we went with a newer suit that she ordered in ready for us, she was so kind and it felt like being with a family member preparing for the big day! She said she’d been working for Golding for quite some time and I hope they realise the asset they have with her there !!

Shop here regularly when buying hats. Best selection of top class hats available here. If you cannot find what you are looking they will order it in for you. This shop has top quality clothing too. The racing fraternity can be seen here kiting themselves out with the finest clothes - which probably is for their life time. Staffing is very professional and they go out of their way to be helpful. Quality tailoring is available as a service too. Be prepared to have to spend on clothes that will probably out last you!!!!
