I had the Special Indian Meal on Monday Night prepared and presented by Mili. I had the mixed vegetable pakoras to start, followed by the Beef Dupiaze and to finish the Mango, Pineapple and Tamarind Eton Mess.

The meal was full of flavour, the beef was tender and the handmade vegetable pakoras were the best I have tasted. I have eaten many Indian dishes, but this was delicious.

What a find. This is an absolute jewel. Delicious and different food made with good quality fresh ingredients. The menu isn't vast, but they still manage to cater very well for vegetarians and vegans. The people who run it are really friendly and the atmosphere was great. I look forward to my next visit.

We spent over £40 each but we did have three courses and coffee. The prices felt reasonable for the quality of the food.

Huge asset to Wotton-under-Edge. This is absolutely my only go-to when we have guests or fancy a gorgeous date night. The vegan options are always as well considered and flavourful as the other dishes and we revel in having options for all three courses. The changing monthly menu means there’s always something exciting coming up, and the theme nights are brilliant fun. The service is really welcoming and friendly - never change Good Food Kitchen!

Came here for Saturday Supper Club as we were spending a weekend in the area and wanted somewhere nice to go for dinner. It was a four-course meal with everyone in the restaurant served at the same time. The space was lovely and there was great atmosphere as the restaurant was full, and we enjoyed the music on the speakers.

We were greeted by friendly staff and shown straight to our table. Supper Club is pre-order so we just sat down and ordered some drinks and waited for our food.

I've got to say I was pretty disappointed by the food. We'd seen the menu beforehand which didn't seem particularly exciting, but given all the great reviews I thought they'd be doing something special with a simple menu. Unfortunately it didn't feel like that, and I came away thinking I wouldn't have struggled to make any of the dishes myself, which isn't a great feeling to come away with when you're spending about £50/head on a meal.

The best thing I can say is that the options I chose felt healthy and nutritious, so I didn't come away feeling overly full or like I'd eaten a really heavy meal. I had a carrot ribbon salad, followed by an Asian slaw with noodles, chicken tikka, and eton mess 'their way'.

The first two were really basic, but the most disappointing was the chicken tikka main... in all honesty it felt like a dish from a pub chain. A lot of rice, very little sauce, basic mango chutney, a small 'naan' - not fresh, felt like a pitta, and a cold onion bhaji. The eton mess done 'their way' I think was to replace the cream with ice cream from a tub. Just meant an overly sweet dessert. My partner had the beef stew main which was nice but bland and could have used more seasoning.

The staff were lovely, but we were never asked how our food was, and weren't asked for any feedback after either (which I'm often asked for from other restaurants if I've booked a table online). I wasn't really feeling in the mood to push for giving any feedback there and then after a long day, so we just set off after we paid the bill.

Unfortunately we left disappointed and - although it doesn't feel good to say - a bit ripped off. The food just didn't live up to the reviews.

My wife and I hiked the Cotswold Way recently, and we decided to have one night in town where we'd have our non-backing luggage sent so we could dress up and have a nice dinner in celebration of our anniversary. We picked Good Food Kitchen as the location for our celebration.

The restaurant offers a three course menu, and there are a few options for each course, including at least one vegan selection per course. As vegans, we were excited to find options like these at a more upscale venue. We were not disappointed.

It wasn't just the best meal of our visit to the UK; it was one of our best meals of recent memory, perfect in every way.

Truly wonderful. We were in on Saturday night for their August Saturday Super Club, and what a treat. Glorious food in a relaxed setting served by lovely people. What more can you ask? The people of Wotton are very lucky to have this on their doorstep.
