Daniela was lovely, despite having to effectively push and cross sell items on the till. Mark, however needs to learn some very basic customer service!! One of the items I purchased was in a reduced section and had 2 very clear yellow stickers on marked £2.99. I didn't initially check my receipt as purchased several other items. It was only when I read the receipt I realised I had been charged full price (£11.99). I pointed this out to Daniela, who apologised and then asked for assistance. Things went downhill when Mark arrived. He made such an issue of it, firstly asking why Daniela hadn't noticed, and then proceeded to go on loudly about it should never have been priced at the price marked, and who had put the stickers on! There was the insinuation that I had done it, as he kept going on so much about it. Then he moaned as I had already paid for the items. As he was "faffing" away, he then had issues peeling on the price stickers. After putting through the refund, he then decided to ask me for my name and address, to which I refused as I hadn't even left the counter since being served. He then proceeded to block me from leaving the store like I was a shoplifter!! Utterly disgusted, I have shopped in this store previously and all the other staff have always been lovely, clearly why Mark isn't on the shop floor! I note from reading other reviews that also mention pricing problems the "attitude" to it being pointed out. The pricing was not the issue here, it was Mark's behaviour!!

Really not happy. Saw the star reduced to £14.99 to be told at till sorry its wrong price and was charged £24.99. I had seen a lady have similar experience last time I was in when the bowl for her sink was actually "the wrong price label" and she paid double what she thought it was! £1 more, where as mine £10 more. Not best practice

Went in today to purchase silk flower grave pots to take to the cemetery.
Yellow price notice label stated £4.99 for the specified pot I chose. Got to the till to be told £5.99. When I pointed out the notice the staff tried to say customers must have moved items... no I read the labels that staff had put up and made sure my purchase correlated with the signage.
I know you're a discount store but this is just bad customer service. And you had done it to a customer in front of me and overcharged them too...

Would be helpful to have some opening hours listed at the doors, as looked like it was closed and cashing up when still open. Otherwise always been a good store and dog friendly.

Love this shop! Always a bargain! Has so much stuff that if you need something it's always worth a first stop just incase!

Example bargain I got this visit was kids annuals at 20p - this year's.. I bought my adult son one as a bit of a laugh and he loved it - for 20p! Thanks Goodwin's!

Brilliant discount store & dog friendly too!! They are more than likely to have what you're looking for & at the right price! The staff are really helpful & friendly. We bought a super doggy bed for only £5......you can see it hit the spot!.....just the job.
