I make a beeline for Harriet’s at least once a week to stock up on supplies for home and the office. Sometimes I use the delivery service for bulk goods, which is very reliable. It’s such a wonderful shop to have locally. They sell a huge variety of products and the best bit ... everything is plastic-free / plant-based. On top of that, the staff are super-helpful and there’s always a real buzz about the place, which I love 🌟

Harriet’s is such a gem of a shop, truly unique and needed..you can find all your planet friendly sustainable goodies there from food, household cleaners, bathing , cards & much more .. everything! Definitely recommend exploring this great shop and meeting the lovely & helpful team too.💚💚💚

Harriet's is an absolute treasure trove of goodies. She's managed to source some really great products and the shop carries a wide selection of goods so it easy to come away with more than you went in for. Of course the main point is that it's sustainable, and you can take your own containers in for produce sold by weight and this proves good value too. Highly recommended.

This shop is genuinely a gem in Hove. I love plastic free and sustainable businesses already, but the staff is always friendly and lovely, always ready to answer questions and they sell all sorts of items (not just dry pasta and spices!). Household cleaning and sustainable kitchen supplies, beers, bread, snacks, etc - great place and hope more people know about it. Definitely worth a visit,

I’m always happy going into the store as the staff are always so helpful and smiling. It’s such a lovely independent shop and a gem in Hove.

Maybe when the brand expands we can expect a Harriet’s of Hurst 😊 Now that would be very exciting. Thank you for all the lovely jars of peanut butter which the kids love. 🥰

I am not in hove very often but I will definitely make it a point to visit here when I am in the future. A good range of stuff for a small shop but what makes this store excellent is the excellent service you get here friendly staff that actually care about their customers and are happy to accept cash, unlike the corporate chains that are either refusing cash or trying to steer customers away from it. I felt very positive after visiting here despite feeling very despondent before entering due to other stores and their attitude to customers, If more stores were like this one the world would be a lot more pleasant. Keep up the good work Harriets of Hove you are a credit to Hove.

Harriets of Hove Plastic Free July has opened my eyes to the huge variety of refills they do - for example herbs for just a few pence to refill. I've always refilled all my cleaning products and store cupboard items but there is so much more and so much plastic to be saved. Great shop with friendly staff - come and try, it's wonderful and so easy.
