Hartford Mill is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great drink paired with delicious food. The restaurant features very spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas, providing a comfortable atmosphere whether you're dining inside or out. Ample parking is available, making the visit hassle-free from the moment you arrive. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth and pleasant dining experience.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the Crispy Chilli Beef, Nashville Chicken Strips, and Hunter's Loaded Chips—all of which were absolutely delightful. Each dish was well-prepared and full of flavor, making it hard to pick a favorite. Hartford Mill has definitely earned a spot on my list of top dining destinations.

I was recommended to head to this place and may I say even though I went around 2pm it didn't disappoint! The meat was succulent everything was cooked properly the roast potatoes weren't dry like they are in a lot of places everything was just delicious and it was a good price too! I'll definitely be going back this time with company

Love the carvery here. Good choice, hot and tasty.
Lots of seating to choose from.
Tracy was welcoming and helpful with cleaning the table we wanted and checking if everything was OK.
Only minor issue was the Team leader serving at the bar, he was alone taking a queue of orders whilst talking on the phone, which isn't great customer service. Need more people to step in and help when a colleague is busy.
Overall it's a nice relaxed atmosphere.

"A Carvery with a Slice of Tracy's Magic!"

We visited Hartford Mill expecting a decent roast, but what we got was a five-star experience, all thanks to the wonderful Tracy! She wasn’t just a waitress—she was a superhero in disguise, armed with a smile, impeccable service, and more enthusiasm than a kid on Christmas morning.

From the moment we sat down, Tracy was on hand with recommendations, jokes, and enough warmth to roast an entire turkey. It’s like she knew exactly what we needed before we even said a word.

Tracy deserves a raise at the very least. In fact, Hartford Mill should probably make her Employee of the Decade or just rename the place "Tracy’s Tavern." She’s a true credit to the company, and if you’re lucky enough to have her as your server, brace yourself for a top-tier carvery experience sprinkled with Tracy's own brand of magic.

PS: If Tracy’s not there next time, we riot.

Was a amazing place to have a dinner date, enjoyed a lovely extra large mixed grill and a mahoosive dessert, won a bet if i could finish it in one sitting, I am now currently £20 richer and fuller than a plus sized chick at an all you can eat buffet.
Our waiter millie was fantasic with food and drink service and was keen to find out about our betting contest
Coming back for seconds for definite.

Brilliant meal, great value for money, service was superb, special mention to Tracy who is fantastic and so accommodating! We had a small baby and she got us a plastic plate and spoon for her and recommended what to have off the menu as she was 10 months! She is so personable, kind and just a pleasure to be served by! We would come back again just for her! Thanks Tracy!

Met my bestie here for breakfast at 10.45am..(I was surprised when they wanted me to book as it was a Wednesday but glad I did ,big place but by lunchtime it was packed )...bit disappointed as after we looked at the menu and decided to have the breakfasts we were told we were too late and breakfast had finished at 11am...it was 11.04 am!!... wish I had known that...my friend is a vegetarian and wanted the veg breakfast,we then had a bit of difficulty finding something but had the halloumi with chips and salad and it was absolutely delicious...drinks a little expensive and a bit chilly under the air conditioning but they did offer to turn it off....very friendly helpful staff, free parking and plenty of spaces.... enjoyed our visit and would definitely recommend and return....just will remember to order before 11am!!!...
