Wow what a find,I stopped to get a drink & a snack as I'd missed breakfast.
It's a lovely shop with lots of locally produced items from Meat to ice cream, handmade pork pies, pasties & locally produced sausages.
The shop has a lot of co-op products for sale on the shelf, but it's Not a co-op.

Think of an artisan shop crossed with a convenience store!

The shop also has a nice coffee machine for your latte or flat white to go with pastries available to go with your takeaway coffee.

It is nice to see a local village shop supporting the local producers & farmers.

The only downside I could see is the very limited parking ?️ outside the shop.
I wish I had more time to have a good look around, but I left with a coffee and a handmade pork pie!
If you're passing by the shop stop and check out this little gem!

If you like my reviews leave me a thumbs up ? thanks

I am leaving a review here because it seems like my attempts to resolve this issue by speaking with staff go unheeded. The shop has a persistent issue with prices on the shelves not matching the POS system but discrepancies are up to 25 or 30 percent sometimes. This is compounded by the staff attitude - often when this is raised with staff they either try to insist on the till price (illegal) or just ask if I want the item or not. In the past one of them has said "oh yes this is always happening". Today I got smirked at for pointing out that an item labelled on the shelf at £2.95 was rung up on till for £3.49 with the comment "well yor card didn't go through anyway". I'd suggest Damian invest in some refresher training on the Sales of Goods legislation for his team. I would hate to think how many vulnerable older or disabled customers are getting done over by this bearing in mind they may not be watching the till screen and that receipts aren't always issued.

Excellent local store, no other village shop has such a wide range of products. At lunch time they also offer hot food including pizza, southern fried chicken baguettes, burgers, potato wedges to name a few, they're all very very good but get there early 11:00-11:15 as they sell out fast!
