A very good park and ride that has FREE parking for bus users. Bus prices into Edinburgh are good too. Buses can get extremely busy though, to the point some people had to stand as there were no seats.

I strongly advise you download the bus service app though which is also brilliant. It tells you what bus to get and pinpoints the bus stop you need on a map.

Handy spot if you’re heading into Edinburgh. Parking is free and you can leave your car for up to 3 nights, which is really convenient. Buses run regularly so it’s easy to get into the city without the hassle of driving all the way in.

It’s pretty basic though β€” no real amenities, and it can get busy at peak times or during big events. Security seems okay but a bit unclear how strictly the 3-night limit is enforced.

Overall, a solid Park & Ride if you just want somewhere simple and free to leave the car and hop on public transport.

Great place to park to go to Glasgow or Edinburgh. Makes getting to the city stress free. Use it to go to the airport on occasions and like the fact there are toilets, a warm building to sit in for waiting with snacks and drinks vendors that take payments by card.

We thought there were designated P&R buses into Edinburgh. How wrong were we. There are several bus routes that stop here and you need to read the routes to find out the best one for you. We used the no25 and it had a stop in Princes Street, which we used. To get back, the stop was at the entrance to Waverly Station on Princes St. We got a day rider, in case we fancied going anywhere else.

Inhad an electric rental car and I had to charge. The charger is self is not the best I had imo.
I planned a walk to a big supermarket when the car was charging. The path ways for walkers are limited or not present and when I came back the charging stopped for unknown reasons (so the car was not full) and then I saw a sign that if you parked a electric car to long (90 min) you will receive a fine automatically. I can understand the policy but on a car parking space with maybe 200+ places and ten cars parked a little too much

The terminal was looked when we arrived and the children needed the loo. We drove to find a toilet but I witnessed a few others going round the back of the building. Someone commented how they were clearly not the only one to do this because it smelt like a men's toilet

Free parking and lots of it. Was right next door to where I was working so rather than play parking roulette in Edinburgh I took the park and ride so I could enjoy the journey in. Saw a nice little fire station on the way in which is now a funeral directors but looking at the size of garages shows how far we've come. I was surprised you couldn't buy a return ticket and instead had to buy singles.

Parked up and bused into Edinburgh to see the Tattoo. Stayed in the motor home over night, felt safe and secure with many others camping over too. All for free.... Which was a huge bonus 🌟
