The litter situation in the car park for the store is dire. Heron foods could mitigate this by emptying their bin more often and occasionally cleaning up outside the store.

After litter picking myself on multiple occasions I contacted their company directly, I’ve received no reply so unfortunately am writing in here.

I’ve also contacted the council. Who carried out a mass litter pick and removed some large waste from the car park.

Clearly there are other factors. But Heron is the only active company in that car park (with the pub closed) it would be nice if Heron helped the local community by at least doing their bit.

The car park is disgusting all the time.

EDIT: 1/8/2024: Heron foods contacted me and said they would discuss this issue with their area manager and the store, it sounds like they will do some cleaning and weeding. I have increased the review from 1 to 2 stars due to them replying.

EDIT 9/10/2024: No weeding took place. They passed the buck to the free holder. So reduced the review back down to 1 star.
