had an excellent experience at Highbury Food & Wine Corner. The staff were incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service. I applied for an International Driving Permit (IDP) through their PayPoint facilities, and as promised, I received it within 20 minutes on the same day! Did my IDP here and had best service. The owner is warm, well informed and witty! Do allow for 20minutes and plan to go for a walk while he deals with the admin as he has to run the shop and other customers concurrently

I came to get an International
Driving permit but came outside of the hours for this process. The very kind guy issues me the licence anyway so that I wouldn’t need to come again - thank you for fantastic service. And all with a sense of humour!

Great service, very friendly, Abdullah sorted out my International Driving Licence within 5 minutes, for £5.50 (as it should be per government website) and also gave helpful advice to get my passport photos from the machine in Highbury & Islington station just across the the road 👍👍

I came into HB Food & Wine stressed out of my mind because I needed to get an international drivers permit (thanks Brexit…) for my trip. I needed to leave the city in an hour to get to the airport for my flight! The man who runs this shop is AMAZING. He knew exactly what I needed and gave me advice on which permit to get. And he guaranteed to get it done for me within 30 minutes. Very pleased with this service - trip saved!

1 star for the provision of IDP services. 0 stars for the staff - would avoid if possible.

I went in there to get IDP. A drunk man comes in harassing me and asking me to pay for his drink. Kept staring and wouldn’t leave. I was clearly scared and vulnerable. The staff didn’t do anything to help, just stared at me too and charged me for his drink. I didn’t feel safe at all in the shop and would not step foot in here ever again.
