Just paid £15 for a bottle of Chateau Guibeau, hoping for a special bottle. Staff clueless. Rough Bordeaux , worth at most £5. Says it all. Hobbs…you just won’t survive selling poor wine with a big mark up. I won’t be going back.

I'm self-isolating ahead of going into hospital and wanted a treat of the wine variety. I've not shopped in Hobbs previously but remembered seeing a sign in their window about deliveries, so I called.

Ann-Marie was so very friendly and helpful, telling about some wine she thought I might like. Delivery due this afternoon. I plan to buy my drinking supplies from Hobbs in future.
