Took my car here for a service and MOT as we’d recently moved to the area and was looking for a garage close to our new home. I called and asked how much a minor service and MOT would be and was told around £200, which I was happy with as it was roughly in line with what the local independent garage we used to use charged.

Work was completed on the day and within the timescales agreed, however when I came to pay the bill was almost £100 more than I was told it would be. I queried this and was told the price I had been told was wrong, and an oil change service with an MOT is around £300 (the hourly labour rate here is £120 +VAT).

This price is on par with what the main dealers charge, however you get none of the main dealer perks. My car wasn’t washed or vacuumed, I wasn’t offered a courtesy car or a lift anywhere and there isn’t a nice waiting area with a coffee machine and brand new cars to look at.

I wasn’t dissatisfied with the work carried out, however feel like I was misled with the pricing when I booked, and struggle to see how such a high price point can be justified for the facilities and service offered.

Really nice, personal, intelligent service. These guys have helped us a number of times with my mum's vehicle in local nursing home. The sort of place you would be happy to buy a car from knowing that you weren't going to get fobbed off if you had a problem.

Very rude. My partner came into garage today to pick up some service history & asked to speak about something regarding a fault on car. Believe to be Andy said oh I havent got time, I have actuall customers to serve! Talk about rude!
