We have recently discovered Hurst Butchers, I have to say the quality of meats have exceeded my expectations. The Aged T-Bone is my absolute favourite! The team is friendly and very knowledgeable.

I popped in to try and get some ham hock, as I had been searching high and low across various local butchers. These guys came up trumps and took pity on me given my search, and gave me the ham hock for free!! They were welcoming and had a great variety of produce. I will definitely be going back - worth going the extra miles!!

Tried various sausages.. steaks.. chicken .. lamb! All excellent ! Properly wrapped and labelled ! Highly recommended!

We bought cornish pasties from here. The pastry was lovely but the filling very disappointing. Inside was mush, very little potato or swede, and no tasty seasoning.

Absolutely love this place. The meat quality is incredible, from the chicken to all the steaks. The staff are super friendly and will get you exactly what you need and have many cuts and sizes to suit your budget. The Biltong and other SA meats are delicious!! Will never go back to a supermarket again for meat.

I cannot recommend this butchery enough! I'm so impressed! Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable about all their products. It has the BEST droëwors, biltong, boerewors and other South African goodies. The other meat products we tried were all super impressive. It's really fresh and very good quality.

I am so impressed with this place and we'll be back very soon!

Oh yes! I forgot to mention..they are selling boerewors rolls outside the butchery on Saturday mornings. So grab one or two and explore the lovely surroundings it's located in.

Cannot reccomend highly enough. We’ve recently moved to the village and have not been disappointed with Clive Millers! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the meat is exceptional. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s really worth it! They make the best sausages that we’ve ever had and have had comments from guests as to the quality whenever we serve meat from here!

So happy we have this wonderful Butchers on our doorstep, we have just moved to Hurstpierpoint, and have been visiting frequently, Steak, Sausages, Chicken Thighs , all have been excellent ! Can’t wait to try more of the wonderful produce !
