A few nice restaurants and cafes. ASDA within walking distance, a few different shops and hairdressers. Potential to improve with some high street clothing shops. Cool murals dotted about. Close to the train station and bus station.

If you want a hair cut something from a charity shop or to visit a restaurant it may be OK. But little room for other shops. It used to be vibrant especially with the in shops full of small businesses. Now it's a dilapidated stop gap between town and anywhere else.

Visited today on the hottest day of the year so far. Huyton is just like every small town in the northwest at present, a bit run down and needing shoppers. Never the less the amount of shops is still good and everything that you need aswell like Wilkos, B&M, Poundland and all the usual charity shops. Noticed quite a few nail bars as well. Not a bad little town. I've been to better and I've been to far, far worse. Worth a trip
