I call this the fun shop bc it is so fun to shop here. It has sooo many different items from all around the world. I got some Palestinian olive oil which I would never find in the big supermarkets and a tiny Nutella. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You will find any spice you can think of here.

On Sunday around noon, I visited this shop to buy a piece of Iranian bread. I greeted the baker with "Hello, hope you're well," but he didn’t respond. At first, I thought he might not have heard me, so I asked for a piece of fresh bread. Again, he didn’t reply.

At the same time, I overheard a woman complaining to another staff member about the baker's rude and discriminatory behavior towards her. She was visibly upset, and before long, I found myself feeling the same way.

The baker eventually placed a piece of bread in front of me. I politely asked if he could cut it for me, but he still didn’t respond. After waiting for a few moments, he suddenly shouted at me in Persian: "Take the bread!"

I was shocked. I calmly asked, "Why are you shouting? I’m just asking if you can cut the bread." To my disbelief, he shouted back again, "I’m not going to do that!"

I was completely taken aback. In all my life, I have never encountered such behavior from a baker—neither in the UK nor in Iran. Feeling confused and disrespected, I left the shop without saying another word. What surprised me even more was that none of the other staff members intervened or offered an apology for his behavior.

This message is for the owner of the store: If you don’t want to lose more customers, you should seriously reconsider keeping such rude staff. I have been a loyal customer for over two years, but after this incident, I will never step into your shop again.

I even tried calling your store the next morning to inform you about this behavior before leaving a negative review, but no one answered the phone. I realized I had no choice but to write this review to highlight the issue.

For the record, it was the bald Azari baker who behaved this way. I’m fairly certain you’re already aware of his attitude, as others must have complained about him before. Unfortunately, you’ve lost me as a customer. I hope you take this feedback seriously and address the issue before losing more customers due to the actions of such rude and unprofessional staff.

I got few kind of Persian dessert from this shop, all the sweets tested like they have been sitting on the shelf at least for 4 days.
Not acceptable to sell food that is old and nearly expired.

The worst store I have ever seen in my life, never buy homemade food from this store!!!! All foods expire and change their dates. I have pictures of moldy yogurt and cucumbers, and more else.
In the front part, all the pickles are not protected and covered, and insects and mosquitoes roam there. When you complain about something, no manager is there to answer. As an Iranian, I never recommend this store. And directly to the owner of the store!!! You are a real cheater
