I was in this shop yesterday looking for a waistcoat. The worker looked in the back where she knew there was one. It appeared, under sufferance. Two were found. One was past it’s best so I didn’t try it on. The other was £15 😱 and didn’t suit or fit me. I declined and left them together hanging up and told her. She gave me the filthiest of looks and was hostile as I’d not bought one. My friend and I found her attitude appalling. I do understand that these are voluntary workers. However, it is a CHARITY shop, not Harrods. If someone doesn’t want to spend, that’s their prerogative. I spent £20 in the Cats Protection shop instead. I won’t go into your shop again as I felt very very uncomfortable on an otherwise lovely day out in Hythe. Just as an aside there is a lovely veggie cafe a few doors along if looking for a bite to eat!

Extremely expensive and extremely rude.
I simply asked a woman behind the counter if the price of these second hand trainers was correct. £125? She snapped back by saying they're expensive Italian trainers. The majority of the items they sell are extortionate in prices. Books at £10, a coat that had dirty marks over it £50, a bowl in their glass cabinet £450, t-shirts £6, trousers £10, ornaments £250. Seriously what 'charity shop' is this supposed to be? Maybe it's a 'charity shop' for people who are well off only. Be forewarned if you don't have a substantial amount of money in your bank account, I wouldn't even bother stepping in the door. And whatever you do, don't exquire about the price of anything because you'll be frowned upon from the staff who work there for daring to be in their privileged shop as a pauper.
