I did my food shopping at the nearby M&S this morning, then came here to buy a water pack. As soon as I walked through the entrance door, a female staff member from across the store said, 'You need to get a basket, you are not allowed to put anything in your bag'. Did the lady assume that I was there to steal something? I would have taken a basket if the water pack would fit in one, but it would not. The way the lady staff member talked to me was condescending and demanding.

However, this one individual staff member does not represent the entire store, as I find all the other staff here very friendly and helpful.

Never ever more than 1 checkout open when I seem to go. Good price range and so much of a selection can easily fill freezer on a budget. Horrid car park. Trollies available need a coin.

The food is great value espically for a family of 6 like us. Great buys but we only go there for our frozen foods. Best bargains are the Greg sausage rolls. Be aware if none in the freezers when you get there just ask as they usually have loads out the back. Shop quite a large store so plenty of space.

Only visited once and my partner went in. Had everything we needed to get and he didn't have to queue (unlike the M&S next door with the huge queue!). Because the M&S was quite busy, it made parking a little tricky (it's a small car park anyway!) but it was a relatively stress free, speedy shopping trip.

Good place to shop, only my second visit but will be visiting more often now. Helpful staff, the young lad on the checkout was so polite and friendly. Well worth the visit.
