I visited here for the first time today after it was recommended to me. My o my the wood is all undercover, fantastically priced and a great selection of sizes and mouldings. On first appearance the place looks rather small but it is much bigger than you think. There is a shop on site where you can buy all types of metalwork fittings and finishes connected to the wood trade. Give this place a visit you will never go to B & Q ever again. The place is used regularly by the trade, so it can't be that bad. You can browse at your leisure without being hassled by friendly staff who are helpful. However, the road leading up to it needs a lot to be desired, beware and drive slow. Small carpark

Asked them to cut me several sheets of 18mm hardwood ply and supplied them with a detailed cut list that showed exact dimensions across three standard 8'x4' sheets. They only went and knocked it out of the park and supplied every sheet cut near enough perfect to exact dimensions. Saved me a lot of expected work to make things fit just right. Price was much better than B and Q and the cut and delivery to me was ~25 pounds less than it would have cost me to just buy the same sheets from B and Q.

If your looking for smaller sheet goods, they often sell off-cuts inside the shop that are stacked just inside the door that are small enough to fit in most cars.
