Brilliant personal service when I bought a new sewing machine from here. They spent time showing me how the machine works and encouraging me to give it a go. They answered all my questions and made sure I was happy with my purchase before I left. After sale service is also excellent.. Can’t recommend highly enough and with Janome’s consistent pricing I can’t see why anyone would go anywhere else.

Good old fashioned customer service was in abundance at this shop. Nothing was too much trouble in demonstrating a sewing machine I was interested in buying. I did buy the Janome 5060QDC which is perfect for my needs. I highly recommend Ilkeston Sewing and the Janome 5060QDC. Thank you for your excelent service.

Fantastic shop, brilliant to be able to try before you buy. Philip and team are very helpful and knowledgeable. I knew that sewing machines have been in demand and I might have to wait. I was lucky that the machine I liked was in stock but would have waited as the customer service was excellent.

I cannot recommend them enough. Went to buy a machine, spent a long time advising me and going through the settings of the machine - no salesman speech, i did not feel pressured to buy. When i struggled with the machine when i first used it, they answered all my emails promptly on a Sunday - trying to help me! Also offered me to come back to the shop and go through my issues.
You don’t get that level of service buying a machine online. And you get two free services with the new machine!
And it is Janome, so you get quality...
