Amazing place for Indians to get Indian snacks, spices, soap and everything.

Of course many things here are overpriced if compared to India but at least they are available!
Bhendi was almost Rs. 1000/ Kg so consider what you buy but over all a good place for Indians.

Warning for Vegans - Do not go to the back section where the halal part is, it's too much to take in. The way the carcasses of animals are tied upside down is disheartening, at least treat their dead bodies with respect.

The store is nice and clean but careful when paying as they put items as MISC and if you do a big shop it’s difficult to track down what the MISC item is. I bought a couple ice cream tubs from here and it looked like it was melted and put back in the fridge. £4.99 for a ice cream that was barely even full. They really need to see the quality they are selling for the price they put on.

The store is clean, well-organized, and stocked with fresh meats, spices, and hard-to-find ingredients. Their halal meat section stands out for quality and transparency. Title: Bad treatment and overpriced

My experience at this supermarket was extremely disappointing due to the rude and discriminatory behavior of some staff members.

Today, I went to buy 2 kilograms of meat. I waited patiently in line, but when it was finally my turn, the butcher ignored me and served people he seemed to know personally, as if the rest of us didn’t exist. When he eventually looked at me, he gave me 2.5 kilograms without asking, and when I questioned it, he replied in a very disrespectful manner, as if he was doing me a favor—even though I’m a paying customer like everyone else.

Prices at this store are also extremely high. Unfortunately, I noticed that some staff misuse religious language to justify these prices, but in reality, Islam is completely innocent of such behavior. Islam teaches fairness, respect, and honesty—none of which I saw in their service.

I strongly advise the management to reconsider who they hire, no matter the cost. And I recommend customers be very careful with pricing and weights.

Religion is about actions, not just words. What I witnessed does not represent Islam in any way.

Terrible service.
I do not recommend.
If you can buy somewhere else, do so.

I ordered matoke boxes for my parents on Friday 20/12/2024. I called and asked when the delivery is in order to make sure the products would be fresh (travelling abroad). I paid a deposit of £80, and came to collect the next day (yesterday, Saturday 21/12/2024). As I came to collect , one of the box was already opened and looked emptier. I said I would not buy it but was convinced otherwise by two members of staff repeating ‘It’s ok it’s ok madam, we don’t do like that’. As I was travelling on that day I did not get a chance to check the products properly and was running late, and the shop was obviously busy on a Saturday. It also took them a while to get the boxes ready. I was hesitant but felt rushed and assured that the products/boxes were good so I paid for the remaining cost (£60) and left for my ferry.

As I arrived at my parents (Europe) today Sunday 22/12/2024 it was a huge disappointment to say the least.

To summarise :
- none of the boxes weight the usual 8kg, but less (about 7,600kg for 3 of them)
- the opened box was 5.860kg
- a lot of the products had to be binned as they were too ripe (see attached photos)

For 27.5 per box (regardless of the kg) this is unacceptable.

I called today (Sunday 22/12/2024) and my call ended by a member of staff who abruptly hung up and was very argumentative. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, arguing about the products’s weight.

Again, I do not recommend and would urge anyone, especially if ordering a bigger delivery, to be careful and avoid them. I wish I did. £110 wasted but at least it won’t happen again. I hope my message will save more potential buyers from this awful experience.

You get all asian items in this shop. Lots of Indian snacks. The only recommendation to shop is to use different knives for chicken and other meat will encourage buyers to visit more.

They have just about any fruit or veg you could need and the spice collection is amazing.
