My wife and I are regular visitors to this shop....Sarah and her staff are very friendly, very helpful.....a great range of food of all types,very tasty...some strange recipes that are really yummy!!!...highly recommend this place to all!!!

Go here! A lovely little place in Shanklin. The quiche was so good I had seconds, the salad and deli items are all fresh and inventive and seasonal (had a lovely spicy tomato and plum salad) and the family that runs the place is very friendly and welcoming. The selection of butcher and grocery items is carefully and thoughtfully curated with mostly local items.

I would definitely recommend It's About Thyme. I ordered a vegetarian buffet for my father's funeral.
The food was delicious. I had lots of comments from family and friends about the food, saying how lovely it all was. Beautiful flaky pasty, yummy hummus and quiches were amazing. The staff were so caring and helpful.

Such friendly owners! Regularly meet my mum here for coffee with my toddler twins, and we are always so welcomed even though my boys are a bit of a handful! Went in without my twins this week and managed to have a look at the butchers bit at the back. I got a few things, but just want to say how amazing the meatloaf was! Even the fussy twin kept asking for more! Will definitely be back to buy more meats soon, reasonably priced and the butchers are incredibly helpful with letting you know the best way to cook things. Absolute gem of a place, and love knowing you're supporting a local business

Fantastic selection of meats and meat products at Paul's butchery. Wonderful range in the Delicatessen of pastries and cakes. Wide range of cooking sauces etc in the shop along with fresh vegetables. Great place to get all the ingredients for a special meal. Friendly staff and a small seating area for teas/ coffee and snacks.

This shop is an absolute gold mine purveying not only the freshest and best fruit and veg but also an almost comprehensive selection of herbs, groceries, and deli delights. We shop regularly and take advantage of their superb home deliveries, especially during lockdown. Ask for their price lists to be mailed to you - we get them weekly. Sarah and her team are courteous and efficient and if you ask them to try to get something for you they will oblige if they can. Also, they will deliver orders for Paul Murphy, the first class butcher opposite and for the Leafy Bean coffee shop just down the road. Real contributors to the Shanklin Spirit.
