Good venue, ideally needs to be modernised.

However the basics are there and many villages do not have the extra income to provide modernised infrastructure like this.

The building has plenty of parking, inside includes toilets, kitchen and outside garden area.

The main hall is pretty big compared to other village halls that I have been too!

Hall was full of cobwebs and dust webs
Toilets smelt terribly of urine, the mop left to clean also smelt the same. Had to purchase cleaning products from the village store to make them usable to our guests.
No toilet roll provided in men’s toilet
Kitchen was dirty.
Water leaking from outside drain by kitchen smelt awful.
Communication very poor, over a week at a time in between replies to emails ect

This is a major asset to the village.
They have village social events including farmers markets, and every year Father Christmas visits - the real one I'm told!
The people who run the hall, organise events and the people who attend the activities, are a credit to their community.

Visited the craft fayre, there was a good selection of locally made products and produce but was sad to see some people selling products that seemed to be mass produced or brought in bulk from elsewhere not what I expected from a small village craft fayre. Maybe push the local companies and not those from outside the village or surrounding area

Nice village hall, reasonable rates. The locals think they are a bit special because they don't live in Sittingbourne or Sheppey and don't really like strangers. They slag off new housing developments, while living in a new development.

The hall is well maintained and perfect for purpose but the person we dealt with for hiring was unhelpful, awkward and layed down so many restrictions it wasn't worth the effort. Even though it was litrally around the corner to us we chose elsewhere where we were treated with respect.

A large hall with a stage. You have to get your chairs out or the store and return them when finished. Car parking free.

We visited the village market which is held on a Sunday once a month. Was very quaint. It also caters for other functions too.
