We were in a last-minute rush to hire my son an outfit for a black tie event. The sales assistant was so helpful and found us exactly what he needed, making good suggestions about sizing and about outfit options. Since they had the sizes in stock, we were able to leave with the outfit. Great service, very helpful staff.

I noticed the James Cox store because I share the surname, and I am really glad I found them. Graeme Cox was excellent: He had the measure of me (literally) and fitted out this scruffy, overweight, namesake with a suitable outfit in no time at all. The clothing I purchased is all of extremely good quality and I will certainly be returning for more items quite soon.

Can't fault these guys and their service. Last minute invite to a black tie gathering and they were able to sort me a dinner suit with no fuss at very short notice. I will certainly be back for me, though with a bit more notice next time!

I like to do things a bit differently.

When looking for a suit for my then forthcoming marriage, I did a Google search, and ignored the first company that came up.

James cox was the second company, so looked at their website, downloaded the price list, got in contact, and arranged a fitting.

I know I am an odd shape (5'8",28" leg, 38" waist, I look like a fat action man!), but to cut the story short, the lady sorting me out, made suggestions that worked, and when I looked in the mirror I was impressed.

And so was my now-wife.

... Along with my mum, my sister, and my brother-in-law, who have never seen me in a suit.

It is bad form to outshine the bride.

On that day I feel I came close.

I had an urgent need for a new suit. On Monday morning I called in to see what they had. Helped by Graeme Cox, I chose one but, as always, I would need some alterations made. How quickly could he get them done? He would try. By Thursday afternoon, job done and a perfect fit. This is a great shop. Always brilliant service, delivered in a quiet, professional way that's lacking in so many shops these days.

Quality men's wear, lovely shirts, trousers, suits and unusual items you won't get in the usual chains. A few women's accessories and gifts too. Helpful staff, good old fashioned service that's difficult to find these days.

Although the shop is a quality mens out fitters. It is one of my favourite shops in Town.
Great for Gifts and occasional cards a lovely range for both females and males.
Staff friendly and always helpful.
