Perhaps I should have taken the photo before I started to eat it. But again, a shared pizza and salad was an inexpensive, filling, and very tasty lunch. We didn't book, so were seated in the less lively upstairs, hence the 4 stars for atmosphere. I highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely cafe for desserts, Pizza, salads, etc. Went over the weekend and it was lovely daughters had waffles with ice cream which were a hit. Enjoyed.
I would say slightly pricey, but a great treat.

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at Java and Jazz, and it was nothing short of amazing. The food was delicious, with a menu that offered a fantastic variety of options to suit every taste. Highly recommend the ‘vegan jazz’ The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to start the day.

A special thanks to Annie, our server, who truly made the experience exceptional and thanks for the additional items 🙂

Until next time 🙂

Popped in just before last orders of breakfast
My partners poached eggs were cold and rock hard. The sausages were definitely not Allen Martin sausages, much more like Richmond sausages. Challenge me on that. I live next door to the butchers.
My full java breakfast was adequate. Not up to your usual high std. The tomatoes were nicely oven roasted but cold. Same issue above with the sausage, in fact I'm hindsight, it was all a bit cold and canteen cooking.
I love this place for a special breakfast but today was not the day.
I welcome your comments on the above and happily amend them if I'm wrong.

Waitress told us to enjoy in a nice way, the tables outside were nice to sit in with a great view of forest row.

Now, Sausages were amazing quality meat, but the skin was in no way crispy, nor did it look appetisingly cooked. A sausage needs a dark brown characteristic with juiciness, a good skin and mouthwatering flavour even a cheap sausages would have surfuced but, this was a quality sausage without the juiciness nor skin of a great one. Fed the dogs these.

Bacon was ok but fatty. Eggs great! Bread great! Butter very fancy.

Lovely cafe and please visit!

We came here twice: once for some afternoon snacks and once for breakfast. The pizzas were really flavourful. Everything at breakfast was great: toast was perfectly crispy, cakes were moist and delicious, and coffees were great! Would definitely come again.

Drove 2 hours from Southend to Forest Row for a vet visit and found this place, and it was a true blessing!

Finally, a Buddha Bowl that's made properly is found, quinoa, broccoli, sweet potato, beetroot and vegetables all in, fresh and crunchy topping with 2 amazing homemade sauces, beetroot and pesto.

And that cake, I can't remember the full name now, but it's got rose flavour and pistachio in it. So soft, light and spongy.

Eating out sitting by the roadside, looking up where a beautiful church stands in the corner on a junction.

That whole experience is just unbeatable. Life is good!
