£4.49 for two slices of slightly heated bread and a little cheese - tomatoes and peppers weren’t available (in a shop?)!
Won’t be back.

I shopped in this Spar yesterday the 26th of April and spent 133 pounds. At the checkout the young assistant put the items of shopping through as fast as she could with my shopping mounting up on the small area beside her till. She didn't even ask did I need help to pack but stood with one arm leaning in the shelf where the till was awaiting me putting more items up in the top area. My shopping was mounting up and I was packing as fast as I could but she made no effort to help me pack items when they were falling back off the top shelf area onto the counter where my groceries were being checked through. I said to her " are you not allowed to help pack the customers bags?" She answered me by saying " do you want a bag? I said no I'm asking are you not allowed to help pack? She again ignored my question then walked away while I was still packing to answer a query her colleague on the neighbouring till had! I was getting frustrated at this point! She came back and stood there looking at me instead of helping. I had 6 bags full and other customers were waiting on me finishing. It was embarrassing for me too as she blatantly refused to help. She was lazy and had no customer service skills. After spending £133 on a full trolley of groceries I felt let down as a customer and would not wish to experience this awful shopping outcome again.
These bigger shops have much to offer but will undoubtedly lose customers with this awful behaviour from young shop assistants. She had auburn hair, was well built and it was around 5.30pm. I will not be back again unless I get a full apology from the assistant and from management of this shop.

Walked up to the till and asked for tubs of icecream, to be met with an ignorant tut, then grunted at me, ‘tub or cone’ I replied tubs please, size? Then a look of disgust, and screwed up her face, at this point I’m already ready to leave but I promised my kids icecream, paid walked down to the counter to be met with ‘what does he want’ when my husband was clearly standing waiting to talk, when he did he was told to ‘just wait I will ask you when I’m ready’ he did his order, please and thank you obviously but was met with eye rolls and tutting then she asked me what I wanted, I told her it’s the only one myself and my kids eat, she then told me she wasn’t tall enough to reach it, another man member of staff said he would help and she told him, she was fine, we left. Refused to give me the toppings on my husbands, his icecream was chewy, as it had obviously been in there freezers for far to long. MANAGEMENT SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO LOOK AT THERE STAFF! From young staff standing carrying on to this vile woman! Won’t be back! And apparently ‘no management in today’

Some of the staff need customer care training. Unfriendly, unhelpful no thanks no please no hello just grunting at customers making you feel like you're just bothering them especially when they're standing there talking to each other leaving you standing there waiting for their conversation to finish.

Just watch yourself in Kenny's. Amazing new shop, but items being scanned through as more expensive than listed in the isles. Make sure you get a receipt and double check everything. Manager, Eileen? is also extremely rude but that was bearable when only paying for fuel.

Would get more stars if it wasn't for the high prices compared to supermarkets such as Tesco/Sainsbury/Asda. A loaf of Hovis wholemeal bread was almost £2.50.
