When we arrived check in was fast and informative. We were allocated lodge 85 (Walpole premier). The lodge was very spacious, overlooked the pond as well which was lovely. The hot tub is well maintained. TV and wifi worked perfect.| The cleanliness of the lodge was OK, lots of dust and quite a few spiders. In some places the lodge was looking a bit tired however this didn’t impact our stay. |There is a small corner shop next to reception, this is expensive, I recommend getting a supermarket delivery, there is an allocated spot at the front of the park for this. |We had food in the restaurant one evening, and it was fabulous. We had fish & chips and curry, the presentation was lovely and portion sizes big. We ordered cocktails which tasted amazing. All served by very efficient and friendly staff.|The location of the park is quiet and secluded, i would recommend having a car to get around in, plenty of walks and things to do within an hour drive. |Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we will be rebooking soon, thank you to all the staff

Loved our stay. So peaceful. Only gripe is that the sofa and chair are not very comfortable at all. Also the log burner on the images is electric. Lovely and warm for when we arrived at the lodge . Poor selection of food at the bar during the day, didn’t sample the evening food as we ventured out. Would rebook again.

Spent 4 nights here, overall experience was great. Lodge was very nice and the bar area was also great. Felt like the lodge could’ve been cleaned better, as we’ve seen stains on the sofa, there was a shard of glass on the floor which was a concern as we’ve got a baby with us. But apart from that it was an enjoyable experience.

Really enjoyed our stay here, lodge was clean and the heating was on when we arrived. Really nice touches, like tea and coffee, basic cleaning things for the kitchen including dishwasher tablets. A goofy bag for the dog. Great location, great facilities on site.

I went here for 4 nights with my partner and honestly, I wish we booked longer! It was amazing, the views, the lodge, and just everything. Will definitely be coming back here each year the most peaceful retreat to go too. If your looking at reviews wondering if you should go, DO IT ITS SO WORTH IT. 10/10

I dislike leaving negative reviews and always try to give the company a chance to reply before I do so. However, I have contacted Keswick lodge retreat directly and had no response.

I checked out from Keswick Lodge Retreat last Sunday.

Firstly, it was always our plan to stay one night due to childcare for one of our guests. I rang one week in advance to explain we would not be checking in until Saturday. On Friday, one of the reception team rang, who I again informed that we were not checking in until Saturday. We were then asked to again call on Saturday to inform of checking in - 3 calls to confirm this was time consuming when a note could’ve been added to our booking.

We arrived at the lodge which had beautiful views and was very clean. However, we noticed all the TVs were not connected. It was after 6pm so we had to call out the on call. The on call did come straight away was very friendly and fixed the TV’s for us.

Just 30 minutes later as we were about to shower the hot water stopped working. Again we had to call out the on call to have this fixed.

This lodge booking was for a friends birthday for us to relax and unwind but unfortunately our experience overall was not an enjoyable one and sadly we feel we would not choose to return again to Keswick Lodge retreat as the standards seem to have slipped from our previous stays here.

Really enjoyed my time here. I loved having the bar, gym and spa. Such a nice little touch. We booked a lodge with a hot tub which kept the kids entertained.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my son. It was a beautiful resort, well laid out and very well kept. Check in was quick and the staff member was very helpful and explained everything that we needed to know. We found the lodge easily. There was space for parking right outside. We went in and it was stunning, we were in lodge number 15. We had a two bed two bath lodge. Everything was spotlessly clean and well laid out. There was everything you’d need in the kitchen. The tv signal wasn’t great, could only get certain channels, wasn’t bothered though as we weren’t in the lodge for too long. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, there was an offer of 10%. The food was all very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were all very friendly. We went to the quiz night on the Tuesday, it was only £1 to join in. It was all good fun. Wednesday night was pizza night, we ordered some over the phone and picked it up at a time we chose. They were really tasty. |Thank you for a lovely stay.
