Absolutely respectful and nice and warm bar. My boyfriend spilled my drink on accident and the gent was so nice and wiped it clean for us and refilled some of my boyfriends drink completely free of charge. Definitely recommend it to everyone who comes here

AMAZING SERVICE!!! Good hearty meals! My family and I are from out of town & were looking for a nice place to eat. As soon as we came in we had a warm welcome, had a lovely chat to the owner then ordered at the bar. I ordered the lamb shanks with mash & my boys the bangers & mash. My 10 year old was also so impressed with his meal & his experience here it was his idea to leave a review 😊✨ Lovely find in the heart of Holdsworth, would definitely recommend with friends, family or even just by yourself.

Room was very clean , very comfy bed with lovely white bedding.
Good food ,delicious scampi and chips and the full breakfast was good too . ( A real coffee would have been better though ) Bathroom is tiny .
Jill and Ashley were very pleasant and friendly hosts , nothing was too much trouble
It’s not a hotel though , it’s a pub with 3 rooms!!

My friend came in to order food and was met with a less than welcome atmosphere. It is unclear as to whether this was because my friend was from out of town, or an ethnic minority, it could go either way. Regardless, food was okay, but we were not given a warm welcome.

We booked a stay at the Kings Arms for a family wedding nearby. Now I’m very fussy, but wow 🤩 |! Rooms were immaculate, modern with everything you need , breakfast to die for . Our hosts Jill & Ash were absolutely amazing . We arrived early however they were more than happy to open up and had our rooms ready within minutes. Nothing was to much trouble . Issue with taxis , Jill sorted it and got us to the wedding on time . The following morning My car broke down. Not a problem! Jill jumped in , calling mechanics and even got her own tool kit out in an attempt to help. Although she was busy with the changeover she made time to make copious amounts of cups of tea to see us through ! |I’m a business owner myself and I have to say , The kings Arms are amazing in every aspect! Customer service, food, beautiful accommodation and fantastic hosts . I will definitely be recommending this place and I wish them both all the best for the future Xxx

We have had the absolute pleasure of staying in this fabulous pub with rooms. This is a dog friendly pub, which was great for us. Responsible owners are also allowed. ||Ashley and Jill are perfect hosts. They are really friendly and nothing is too much trouble. ||The family room we stayed in was beautifully presented and cosy. The standard of cleanliness is very high. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you need. Hairdryer, toiletries, iron and board, even a baby cot and changing area. You are provided with a choice of teas and a tassimo coffee machine.||The traditional pub is great, providing a wide range of ales and gins, along side other tipples.||You are entertained by the locals.||The breakfast is served in the pub. It's a traditional full English, or a variation of those ingredients. Really lovely and freshly prepared. ||Please note during covid restrictions, lunch and dinner are not being served during the day. However, they do allow you to bring in take away food and eat it in the pub, whilst enjoying a drink.||If you are in the area, The Kings Arms is well worth a visit.

An overnight stay for work and for the cost of the room I got excellent value for money. A friendly Landlord and Landlady, a very good dinner, a good clean room and a brilliant breakfast. I would recommend a stay here if you are in the area. A good old fashioned pub with accommodation run properly.
