Jay and Anita provide a much valued service. Many would be lost without the shop/post office. They have a great variety and cater to many tastes. Get to know them a little and you will always receive a warm welcome.

60p for an apple, £1 per orange!!! The woman is surly & rude. My favorite game is to wear a tracksuit because if she thinks you have less money she will look down her nose at you 😆. A terrible place to shop but great fun to be had dressing down so that she treats you like dirt...give it a try. But seriously, laughably over priced with painfully rude owners. A shining example of greed & social prejudice under one roof, go check it out 😆.

Lovely little shop, we were visiting the village. Went in, bought some coffees and tasted their delicious cakes, walked back down to the canal, and consumed it all. Very friendly staff. 😊

They now do delicious takeaway food cooked by Anita. I bought a salmon curry, a sag aloo and four rotis and it was easily enough for two square meals. Be aware that you have to order 24 hours in advance, before 1pm and they don't do it Sundays or Mondays. See their website for the menu.

JAY AND ANITA PROVIDE EVERYTHING YOU NEED!! As out of towers visiting from Canada this store was our go to for everything. We got so many delicious meals, snacks, drinks and nic nacs there. Then not to mention the Currys!! Lamb, chicken, Salmon were absolutely delicious. The spice was just right. The sides (okra, eggplant, cauliflower) were delicious. Can't say enough really love this place and the owners are just amazingly warm and friendly people. 👍👍👍

Went into the corner shop few weeks ago the man wasn't very helpful. But his wife today was friendly and remembered me. And asked if I had a lovely walk around the village. Lovely hot chocolate
