Rutger is a lovely man with a great eye to detail. He’s made sure that the stove is straight and levelled.

During the job there was a slight accident where a couple of roof tiles were cracked, Rutger went and sourced new tiles, replaced them and even replaced others that were missing - this is absolutely above and beyond.

The work included installing the stove and flue, and repairing the chimney. I believe all the work Rutger has done has saved me loads of money in the long run and I’m incredibly grateful.

We had the best experience with Rutger and Graham , we were kept informed all the way , and we were always confident our installation was in good hands . Clean and tidy throughout the process which is always a bonus , even hoovering some of my neglected dusting along the way . It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Rutger who understood how much we needed heating after 3 months and did his very best with Graham to make sure we had this done for the cold spell . We had a small issue with our chimney , which wasnt anticipated but this was dealt with quickly and professionally , without any alarming or stress .

Rutger just installed our new wood burner and did a fantastic job. He managed to squeeze us in at short notice so we could have the burner ready to use this Christmas. The job was a little trickier than first thought but that didn’t cause any issues for Rutger who took any small issues in his stride. As well as removing the old burner and liner before installing the new one he also re-pointed the top of our chimney as the motor had perished. We now have an excellent seal at the top of the chimney along with a new pot. If you are looking for an excellent installer who is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable then I can really recommend Light my Fire!
