Worked there for 2 yrs, used to be a great place to work. Since Debbie has taken over it's probably the worst place to work. She is power mad and has no consideration for staff. It is all about money for her to pay for her Tesla. Originally it started as a charity but not anymore. They have got rid of 4 members of staff, not replaced them £120, 000 ish and put their prices up. Really charitable . Well done Debbie and Darren. Both spot on. You must be so proud that you have all ruined the lighthouse.the guarantees are are a
waste of time. Half the appliances are returned within a week. They also over charge the government for the essential living fund payments. I will be talking to the local authority about that. Please avoid the lighthouse 👍👌

My husband is clearing out his late sister's property and would like to thank Lighthouse for making a very difficult situation so much easier. The two gentleman that arrived to collect the donated items, Wes and Ian, were lovely guys and were extremely sensitive to the situation and their approach was caring and considerate. Would most definitely recommend Lighthouse. We will most certainly use them again and recommend them to friends and family. Thank you very much Lighthouse, can't speak highly enough of all concerned.

Asked to collapse furniture for collection, then they refused to take the furniture as it had been collapsed. Very picky about what furniture they will take, want items only in new not used condition only. This needs to be clearer before collection so as not to waste peoples time - especially as Essex County Council are steering people here instead of taking useable items to the tip.

Volunteers are nice, helpful and patient.
I have almost found everything for my house here at a very very decent price. After looking at the collections I must say they have good eyes. Thank you for saving me lot of money on Furnitures.

The unbelievably priced (£40) glass top 4 seater dining table I bought here looks amazing in my home. The service was great. I am one happy customer and I certainly plan to return! God bless you for your good service to humanity!

This place offers quality products which are priced fairly, offering a two-tier system m, a discounted items for people on benefits and another price for people who are not on benefits. This place sells new items and pre loved items too. Don't worry if you don't drive as they deliver to most areas for a fee. The staff there are very helpful and polite.
