Lintzford Garden Centre

First time visiting. Great cafe, they seem to care about the food, e.g. using locally supplied sausages and bacon. A good variety of furniture, clothing, cooking equipment etc... an interesting and well maintained selection of plants and flowers some I have not seen in a number of other garden centres. All the staff throughout were warm and welcoming. Well worth a look.

Called in with a friend for lunch. Had big bowl of homemade veg soup which was lovely. Also serenaded by a Robin who frequently visits. Enjoyed my visit stay very pleasant.

Excellent garden centre. Good range of plants year round, seasonal displays, and more often than not, that something that's just a little bit different. Great for food too

Nice garden centre, but they really need to look at the prices of their toys. £10 for a tiny note book for little girls. The entire toys stall was so overpriced. A kids torch £7 british pounds. I know you dont go to a garden centre for toys but kids always want something dont they.

What's not to love about the garden centre... plenty of parking, loads of gorgeous gifts and a fabulous selection of plants. A lovely cafe offering a selection of tasty hot and cold food (and a log burner when it's chilly).

The Christmas Elf is amazing. It's actually just another member of staff who is clearly very happy to be working at Lintzford (either that or he owns it?!). Best place for Christmas trees but it's a fabulous garden centre. The coffee in the cafe is great too.

3 friends and went for Afternoon Tea. It was outstanding and plentiful. First time we have ever needed boxes to take stuff home. Food all freshly prepared from a huge choice of components. Sandwiches packed with filling, scones massive and delicious, cakes scrumptious and what can I say about the Strawberry Tarts but that they were to die for. Staff lovely, helpful and very welcoming. We are ladies who love an afternoon tea and do it every month at a different venue from Matfen Hall to Langley Castle. Have to say without hesitation this is the best yet and they could charge a lot more.
