Bumped up to 4 stars because of the value and pastel de nata was really good however, at 10am, I tried 4 pastries, I asked if they were fresh, he said yes. They were cold, tasted as if from the day before? When do you bring them out fresh?

Bought a 2 Bolo do caco as I’ve haven’t had this in year excited to gat home and eat it when I finally cut it, it was not bolo do caco and just normal bread I don’t recommend this for anyone that knows what bolo do caco is.
I spent £2 on each.
What a waste of money the owner doesn’t know what bolo do caco is.

If I wanted a small round bread I would have gone somewhere closer to where I was.

Do not recommend this deli to no one.

A very authentic Portuguese deli that you can find in central London. With all the cake/sweet options especially for Easter. I like their nata and cod croquettes very much even they are not served warm.

AVOID. Sold a vanilla sponge with fruit. Arrived home with no delay and went to serve (birthday party) - cream and fruit had gone off. Went to return cake but deli section had closed, restaurant supposedly couldn't process return. Took down our name and told to call and someone would issue refund tomorrow. Have called repeatedly, hung up on, told can't do anything. Will be reporting to FSA as place is selling soured food and contesting payment through bank.

Don’t waste your money .. they have no customer service. Waited for 25 mins to get the attention of a waiter (very skinny) by saying hello and how are you to him. He in return said, I can’t ? The barista, what an incompetent person to have as the face for customers arriving. I came to the counter to get my order taken as I was sick and tired and hungry and he refused , he told me to sit down at the table, when I explained that I had waited too long already he shrugged his shoulders. Other customers also complaining about the lack of customer service and rudeness of the staff. There are so many other places to eat. I am at pico restaurant.. 2 mins walk and have now given my order and will give them
my 50 / 60 pound spending money! I highly recommend you don’t give money to a business that can’t even produce a hello or a smile … give to those who want to give you customer service. Not much to ask for …

It looks really promising from the outside, and the food does *appear to be good. Unfortunately the shopkeeper will take advantage if you let them by mis-charging you - leaving a sour taste in the mouth.

*Update: having now tried the bread I bought - so stale that it went straight in the bin - I've downgraded my review to a 1.

If you're not going to sell fresh food in a deli, then only fools will come back twice.

Been coming herebmost Saturdays for 2 years , this place is bustle and lively.

Great variety of basic food, their breakfasts especially are a super deal and value for money 💰.

Bruno is the best! Patience and kind. Good fresh orange juice, and toasted sandwiches. The chicken Club sandwich is big and tasty.

Curious to try the higher end restaurant of same company next door!

Grrrreat pastel de nata.

We/I keep coming back !

I ordered a cake for my sons baptism and was told to send a photo in- I showed the inspiration photo and they said they could do it. I looked on their Instagram page and they have some beautiful cakes on there so I didn’t even question it.
Low and behold when I receive my cake- instead of a plastic premade bible I got a cross that was hacked in three and stuck on. Along with writing that looked like it written by Chucky- and not the beautiful calligraphy they have on their Instagram. I have complained and emailed and have been constantly ignored.

It was such an eyesore that I couldn’t even display the cake at the baptism. On top of that I had to pay £93.50 which I thought was daylight robbery for the quality produced. This was the most disappointing experience and the fact that neither manager has acknowledged their mistakes nor their upsell is a joke.
