Giz ran a cooking lesson at my Hen Do. She was calm, knowledgeable and personable. I'd previously been gifted her spice blends before so I knew it would be tasty but the experience as a whole was fabulous. There were 11 of us (including Giz) in a county house kitchen and it didn't feel like chaos! She was absolutely amazing and the food she had us create was incredible. Thank you so much!

I regularly buy Mama D’ors spices , they are essential to my food cupboard! It enables me to create fast tasty authentic dishes week days and more experimental mindful cooking at the weekends .
Beautifully blended for the best tasting food, The Bhaji mix is a revelation and highly recommended , love the recipe cards for each spice too. Have brought as gifts too with great feedback .

Q. What do you get if you put an Englishman and Irishman and a South African in a kitchen with Giz from Mama Dor's Kitchen?

A. Another amazing and fun afternoon and evening cooking up an Indian Banquet.

The guys did most of the cooking, whilst the girls did the drinking.

Menu
Starters - Chicken Pakora and Onion Bhajis with a mint and coriander dipping sauce
Main Course - Chicken Biryani, Bombay Potatoes, Sag Paneer and Indian Salad

This was our second cooking session with Giz (did one back in Jan 2022) and this will now become an annual event each January as we work our way through Giz's recipes and spice blends.

Highly recommended and a fun evening for anyone considering doing something a bit different. but with a super tasty end result.

Having used Mama Dor’s spices for a long old while, we decided to up our game and learn more about making the perfect curry. Giz spent two hours, guiding six of us through the preparation of an Indian meal. We all learnt a lot, had great fun and the food was outstanding. Highly, highly recommended!

I have used Mama Dor's delicious spices for a while but last weekend she came to my house to lead a group of us in a cooking class and it was just fantastic. So much fun, we learnt loads and we had a wonderful feast to end the evening. I've just remade all the dishes for another group of guests and they were all easy and delish. Giz is a brilliant teacher and also just lovely to spend an evening with!

Mama Dors spice blends are so tasty, healthy and easy to cook with! Even my fussy children love them!
The website is fantastic with recipe ideas which are definitely worth checking out. I love that many of the spice blends are also available as "hot" for that extra kick!

I honestly don't know how to describe the beautiful deliciousness of mama Dors spice blends. My favourite is lamb byriani and if you havent heard of the green 'gold dust' chutney are you even an Indian food fan! The blends this lady is able to create are so wonderfully exquisite you'd be hard pushed to find a takeaway or Indian restaurant to match let alone beat them. Affordable teatime treat xx
