We have recently stayed at the Masons for a few nights for our anniversary and we have nothing but good things to say about the place 🙂 The rooms are well presented and super cosy with stunning views😍 We ate there most nights & the food 🤤 absolutely delicious, full of flavour and beautifully presented on the plate. The staff were exceptional, very kind and welcoming and always full of smiles ☺️ Especially the barman Simon who never failed to make us laugh, made us feel welcome and always served us with a smile on his face!🙂 The managers Dave & Louise are amazing cooks and generous hosts who always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. 110% would recommend to friends and family & will definitely be staying again!🩷 (P.S. We hope chicken Kevin is doing well 😉🤣xx)

Had our engagement meal here 17 years ago. Great to come back and reminisce.

Louise behind the bar was lovely and friendly and really helpful.

The cherry on the cake was, she brought us a complimentary warm brownie with a candle to congratulate us on 17 years. The food was superb standard though as was the service and atmosphere.

We were passing through at the end of our trip on a Monday we called ahead and they were super accommodating. They were busy but the 2 front of house staff were fabulous and managed it so well. The meals were HUGE! And not only were they big but tasty too! Starters are not required here you will be well fed!

The atmosphere of the pub was lovely and relaxed, staff were very friendly. The food was amazing, I couldn't believe the size of the portions and it was delicious, I've yet to have a Sunday roast dinner match this. Sadly it was our last night at our Airbnb, otherwise we would have gone again.

A really lovely pub. The Manager was really accommodating when we asked to move our booking forward as we arrived earlier than we thought. The pub was fully booked at the time. It was such a great help as I was with my young son. The food was great. I had fish and chips and my son had a burger. We will definitely visit again, thank you.
