This store is known for selling expired produce and the owner of the store just keeps dillydallying and saying that they're "rotating the stock" when they aren't doing jack squat except for rotating nothing more but milk and dairy products. Because of this, one person who went to this store got food poisoned due to eating expired products. I once made the mistake of buying packs of 2022-expired McCoy's crisps from that store and they went into the bin. Same applies for McVitie's Penguin biscuits which had an expiry date of 2023, despite being barely in date, which is why I'm giving this shambles of a store a one-star rating. In my eyes, I would ask the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to give them a 0 rating, meaning that urgent improvement is required.

EDIT: To the owner of this store, you can either shut up and rotate the stock for real (via actions, not words), or you can shut the store down and spend the rest of your poor, sad life behind bars.

This person is not only rude and disrespectful to his customers just like the other reviews but is also a low life thief!

He robbed my grandmother’s lottery winnings by giving her much less money than she actually won! Luckily this has been reported to the police and we are hoping this criminal gets what he deserves.

Before you play the this a “troll” or “fake reviewer” tell the people why you were at court last Monday.

Probably the worst service I have ever received at this store, was in browsing for some wine whilst asking my partner which type they would like. Out of nowhere the owner pops up and asks me if I needed help. When I said I was fine, he went on to accuse me of noting down prices then told me to leave!

He carried on doing this several times. Utterly unbelievable behaviour.

The girl behind the counter was mortified and from her reaction it’s clear that this type of paranoid behaviour is common place at this store.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’m all for supporting local businesses but when they treat customers like this, no thanks! Avoid at all costs.

I tried to buy rizla papers which is about 60p with a 5 pound note. He refused to serve me. Im not giving you change for that he goes. Joke of a man. I asked him are you joking he asked me to get change. I laughed at him id rather buy the same product at 10 x the price than put one penny in this store. Same place selling toilet roll 4 pack for £16 when covid started. Disgusting.
