Closing down sale now on. Bought a Eurohike pop up tent for a really good price. Atlanta is always so helpful and runs the shop well. Hopefully staff will be retained?

Friendly and very efficient service today from a staff member when I bought a RFID Document Wallet, which turned out to be the last one in stock when I went back for another. She ordered one for me via online to be delivered at my address. It's nice to be listened to and not have to repeat name, address, email details etc or correct them!

I tried to purchase a tent today and indeed at one stage paid for it .
110 pounds reduced to £29.
Bargain.
I then got an email 5 minutes later cancelling the deal
I went back to the shop and received my money back through seemingly gritted teeth and a certain surly attitude. No apology that I remember..
I think the deal never existed and it's just an enticer to buy a more expensive tent which they proposed.
If it's to good to be true..... .
I will never use this shop again.

I went here a few weeks ago to get a backpack & gear for hiking the South Downs Way, and was really impressed with the staff. In particular both Teagan and Simon were a huge help - they really took their time showing me the various backpacks, fitting them for me properly, and giving me loads of excellent advice and tips that ended up coming super handy during my hike. I could tell they were experienced and really knew what they were talking about. I was in the shop for ages and asked loads of questions but they never seemed annoyed or rushed me, and really took their time to explain everything. It’s not a huge store but they manage to fit a surprisingly large selection of products in. Great experience!
